How does the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission (RDEC) conduct public opinion surveys? Do the survey questions concern the public?
The surveys are based on phone interviews, and processed on the Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing System (CATI). After processed, survey analysis and results are distributed to the departments of Taipei City Government (TCG) for references. The survey questions usually regard TCG’s policies and programs concerning citizen’s living, such as road quality, Taipei Metro System, urban renewal, U-bike, etc.
