How the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission (RDEC) supervise and evaluate Taipei City Government (TCG)’s primary policies and programs?

In order to fulfill the responsibility of ensuring the quality and progress of Taipei City Government (TCG)’s primary programs, RDEC follows the “Control and Evaluation Guidelines for Selected Programs in the Annual Plan of Taipei City Government” and makes suggestion of programs on RDEC’s close watch. With the mayor’s recognition, RDEC would evaluate the progress report of these programs on regular basis and report to the City Council. In addition, RDEC also conducts mid-term and year-end evaluations, and awards prizes according to the evaluation results at the end of year.
