The following public services of the Taipei City Government (TCG) are provided directly by the RDEC: (1) 1999 Citizen Hotline, (2) Taipei City Petition System, and (3) Taipei E-service Online. The former two services are for citizens to convey their questions, suggestions and opinions to Taipei City Government. The latter allows citizens to track the responses to their inquires and progress of action taken answering their requests. Furthermore, after the request and inquiries are dispatched to the departments in charge, the RDEC supervises the departments to ensure the efficiency and quality of the inquiry/request processing.
